The diversity of sponsoring options in Germany is unique. Alongside large organisations such as the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), up-and-coming scientists are also supported by numerous prominent foundations and research facilities such as the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH), the Helmholtz Association (HGF), the Leibniz Association (WGL), the Fraunhofer Society (FhG) and the Max Planck Society (MPG) . Together with their numerous institutes and research centres, these organisations build the corner stones of the German research landscape. During one day of the forum, they take the time to present their projects as well as their programmes to the Green Talents.
An information workshop on research and funding opportunities is an integral part of the science forum. It is meant to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge and contacts to foster their research in Germany.
