Today the Green Talents took part in a workshop covering the various options of conducting research and receiving funding in Germany. After an introduction to the German research landscape in general and especially the work of the Project Management Agency of the DLR, representatives of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Helmholtz Association (HGF), the Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation (AvH), the Leibniz Association (WGL), the Fraunhofer Society (FhG) and the Max Planck Society (MPG) were presenting their institutions and relevant funding and research programmes. The Green Talents learned a lot about how research is organized and funded in Germany and are thereby well prepared for possible future research collaborations.
