The Falling Walls Lab is a platform for excellent academics, entrepreneurs and professionals from all disciplines who get the opportunity to present their research project, business model or initiative with peers and a distinguished jury from academia and business. Each participant is given three minutes to share his/her innovative idea. The three most intriguing presenters were awarded the title “Falling Walls Young Innovator of the Year 2013”, were given a cash prize and got the opportunity to present their talks on the grand stage of the Falling Walls Conference.
At the Falling Walls Lab, the Green Talents encountered four alumni who presented their research project, business model or initiative: Komalirani Yenneti (Breaking the Wall of Energy Transition), Xue Bing (Breaking the Wall of Low Carbon City), Victor Sim (Breaking the Wall of Wasted Water) and Javier Solano (Breaking the Wall of Energy Consumption in Transport Systems).
